The things we particularly appreciated were: You estimated that the work would take 6-7 weeks and it did. All the workmen were polite, respectful, cheerful and generally a pleasure to have around the place. We were kept informed and consulted about any problems or decisions that needed making and you always worked your best to meet our wishes and take into account our preferences within the technical / physical limitations. On the whole everyone was really careful to cover carpets and furniture etc to avoid damage and at the end of the day a good effort was made to clear up as much mess and dust as possible so we could continue to live in the house the whole time. All the snagging issues were dealt with promptly as requested. Please convey special thanks to Dave. "My experience of Steve Askham and ASK Complete Building Service: He arranged to meet me at 2.00pm on 10th September. He arrived on the day stated and was 5 minutes early. He looked at my list of work and recommended other items which I had missed. That turned out to be good advice as it uncovered and rectified some very poor workmanship arising from when we had double glazing fitted. He said he would provide me with a written quote by 18th September it arrived by the 17th September. I accepted his quotation and he said he would start the work in the week ending 2nd October. The work commenced on the 30th September. He promised that his tradesmen would start the job and finish it without leaving to fit in other work and thus prolonging the time when our house was upside down. He kept his promise. From my untrained eye, the work appears to have been completed to a good standard. Overall, I am both relieved and delighted that I have finally discovered a builder/property repairer who does what he says he will do and all for a fair price. I shall be using ASK again in the near future."
